RayRod released this massive mod for No Man's Sky Atlas Rises in 2018.
The mod is the result of lots of hard work and had been in progress since 2016, with RayRod continually tracking each new NMS update. The primary changes of the mod are over 1000 new planetary biomes, but you will notice things such as bigger and more trees and other enhancements. It is better played instead of described.
Upon the release of No Man's Sky NEXT it appears as though the game changed so radically that the project was suspended. Today, RayRod is working on RayRod's Multiverse for newer versions of No Man's Sky.
