Initial Release

This is the version most people played on Launch Day in 2016 as it was a day-zero patch. The art style and core mechnics is the closest to how it was shown in demos before release. It could be considered the "purest" version, with no added fluff, the closest to the original vision of the game.

  Foundation

Foundation

Foundation reset the entire universe and game with new terrain and planets, so if you played on launch day, the only way to revisit your first planet is to roll back to an initial release version. This version also saw the addition of Creative Mode, allowing free exploration, as well as Base Building.

  Path Finder

Path Finder

Path Finder introduced the ability to explore the planet surfaces with exocraft. The most noticable visual change in Path Finder is the removal of the "vintage" filter, providing truer and brighter colours.

  Atlas Rises

Atlas Rises

Atlas rises reset the entire universe of the game again, and began the transition to smoother terrain we saw in NEXT and future versions. This version introduced a new full storyline, activated portals, and added further graphical enhancements.

This version is also notable for the [/mods.php">RaYRoD's Overhaul] mod.
