The Terrain mod restores the 02 foundation orb.png Foundation terrain and is compatible with the latest version of No Man's Sky (as of writing the Fractal update).

Enables terrain generation from legacy NMS versions (Foundations) for all planets except Prime types.

The Visual mod restores colours, fog and the vintage filter, however this current only supports up to No Man's Sky version 3.75 (Expeditions Revisited) and does not yet work on the latest update.

Until this is updated, you can install version 3.75 (manifest ID 5184063076020885755) following the How to Install Old Versions from Steam guide, and using this command with DepotDownloader (changing UN and PW to your username and password):

This will bring back some colors from Foundations version on lush planets, activate all legacy sky colors, increase fog on planets and enable vintage filter. Also it activates legacy trees on all non-prime lush planets.
