AltTabSky was created by [[User:Qjimbo|Qjimbo]] and is a small application that runs in the system tray and lets you alt-tab out of No Man's Sky without the game pausing.

Unlike injection-based tools, AltTabSky never modifies or injects into NMS.exe. Whenever another window takes focus, it simply tells the No Man's Sky window that it is still active. Because of this it works on every version of the game.

====How to Use====
Run AltTabSky.exe. It sits in the system tray with no window of its own.

Launch No Man's Sky in Borderless or Windowed mode, then alt-tab freely. The game keeps running in the background instead of pausing.

Right-click the tray icon to toggle it Active, enable Run at Windows startup, or Quit.

Note: use Borderless or Windowed mode. In exclusive fullscreen the graphics driver minimizes the game on alt-tab, which no tool can prevent.

Sean Murray stated in a recent interview that the first version wasn't actually the "original vision" so this statement has been removed.
